I haven’t ridden Feisty, my Aprilia Pegaso Mk1, for a while due to overheating issues. I’ve been so fixated on getting Vlochka, My Land Rover Discovery, into working order for long distance travelling that I sort of neglected my motorbike this year – which is a major shame because it was a scorching hot summer.
Luckily, my Danish friend Søren came to the rescue and let me go for a spin on his sexy Yamaha 1700 Roadstar. That bike is beautiful and oozes power. I thought the sound from a single cylinder was good until I heard the Star roaring to life. The bike just plain feels cool to ride. I was grinning for the rest of the day.
